Car Rental Information
Drivers License: Must be valid for at least one year
Minimum Rental Duration: One day
Taxes: Paid by individual renting vehicle
Petrol: Paid by individual renting vehicle
Guarantee: Credit card is compulsory for vehicle rental. We accept all major credit cards.
Fines and Infringements: All fines and penalties are liabilities of the hirer who will be obliged to pay them.
Insurance: All vehicles are insured toward third party accidents. Physical injury to other drivers, vehicle damage of other drivers, accident care, and personal accident as well as legal services. With the insurance towards third parties, the hirer has to assume the total amount of damage for the vehicle he is driving and is responsible for. We offer additional insurance CDW ( collision damage waiver), LDW (low damage waiver) at an additional cost.
Optional Insurance Coverage: Full insurance coverage, CDW Collision Damage Waiver, LDW Low Damage Waiver – The responsibility of the hirer, for damage to rental vehicle when he is at fault, can be minimized under the various categories and their liabilities.
*CDW and LDW are not official insurance policies.
*Categories A, B, C, D, E, F, F1, G & K are categories for rental vehicles.
Insurance exemptions: INSURANCE does not apply for whatever may happen when the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. When the driver violates the code of road rules and regulations and at any time the vehicle is driven on an unsafe or unroadworthy area. For example, any damage to the vehicle once it has been taken to mountainous or rocky roads, beaches, swamps or areas that are deemed unsuitable for vehicles. Any damage to the tires, mirrors, windshield, windows, interior and underneath the vehicle are not covered by the insurance policy. In order to be covered by the insurance for any damage, you are obliged to have an official copy of the police report. Parking is allowed only in car parks and not on central streets.
Drop off of vehicle: The renter is obliged to return the vehicle on the specific date and time stated in the contract. He is to return it to the same location and the vehicle must be in the same condition as was when it was rented. The gas tank should have the same level as the receipt, there is no refund for gas that was not used by the renter.
Moto Power allows a 30 minute time extension after the agreed upon drop off time, at no extra charge. Should the renter surpass the 30 minute extended time limit he will be charged for the full day.
Replacing the vehicle: Moto Power Company reserves the right to change the CAR in special cases.
Off island excursions: This is permitted only with the consent of Moto Power.
Cancellation policy: Should the renter cancel the reservation one week before pick up date Moto Power will reimburse the full amount of the initial deposit made. If the car is returned earlier than the date and time stated in the contract, Moto Power has the right to charge the renter in full, for the entire period.

Vehicle Maintenance
- Cars are clean and well kept.
- In case of car trouble, vehicle will be replaced immediately.
- Safety belts are in all our vehicles and should be worn.
- Third party liability insurance is included at the base price. Additional insurance is available at an extra cost.
- GPS system may be provided once reservation has been confirmed.
Insurance
The basic rates include thirt part insurance and unlimited kilometers.
Extra insurance – C.D.W. (Collision Damage Waiver). The renter is insured for damages to the rented vehicle in the event of an accident, with 450 € excess for group A, B, C and 630 € for group D, E, F and 780 € for group F1, K and for group G 1,100 €.
IF THE RENTER WANTS F.D.W., THE COST IS PLUS THE C.D.W.
F.D.W. (Full damage waver) The renter is insured for damages to the rented vehicle in the event of an accident, with 180 € excess for group A, B, C and 360 € for group D, E, F and 470 € for group F1, K.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no full damage insurance coverage for category G.
T.W. Thift insurance with no excess.
P.A.I. The renter used personal accident insurance is insured for 10,000 € in event of an accident.
Exception to Full Damage insurance.
Charges for any of the damages below will be charged directly to the client, the mos important are the following: Antenna, trays, damage to car lock, loss or damage to keys, windshield wipers, mirrors, glass, wheels, tires, spare key and car jack, hubcap, light, gas cap, warning triangles, damage to the upholstery of the car, extreme dirtiness in the car, underside damage, damage due to negligence, tire punctures and burst tires, fuel errors, lack of electricity because of forgotten turn on electrical devices, the car rental company, in any case, is not obligated in replacing a at tyre or damages in radio.
Damage caused by drunk driving or negligent driving will never be excluded. Enjoy your ride! from the client’s direct responsibilities.

Moto Rental Conditions
- The use of credit card is necessary as a guarantee for the hire of any vehicle.
- Rental rate includes third party insurance.
- By paying an extra 3,00 € per day you receive C.D.W. (Collision Damage Waiver) insurance with which, in case of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of 180 €.
- For vehicles from 125 cc and more, the charge for CDW is 5,00 € per day and in case of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of 250 €.
- For vehicles from 251 cc and more, the charge for CDW is 7,00 € per day and in case of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of 370 €.
- In case of a flat tire if you pay an extra of 2,00 € per day, then you are not charged with the 0,50 €/km and 10 € for repair service.
- Taxes: All rates are subject to 24% V.A.T. + M.T.
- Minimum rental: One day
- Parking is prohibited in Papavasileiou Street as well as the Chora esplanade. It is only permitted at the municipal parking areas.
- Traffic fines: All traffic fines incurred during the rental period are to be paid by the renter.
- Free delivery/collection to/from the port, the airport and hotels within the town radius.
ATV Rental Conditions
In addition to the Moto Rental Conditions above, for ATVs the following apply:
- For ATVs from 100 cc and more, the charge for CDW is 5,00 € per day and in case of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of 380 €.
- For ATVs from 300 cc and more, the charge for CDW is 7,00 € per day and in case of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of 550 €.
- For ATVs from 450 cc and more, the charge for CDW is 9,00 € per day and in case of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of 880 €.
Personal Information
MOTOPOWER will keep Renter’s personal informatio n filled in the form overleaf, in its records in order to ensure the proper performance of this agreement and improve the administration and management of its car rental business. Renter, by signing this agreement, expressly consents to the above described processing of his personal information.
